NEW CD

For his latest recording and concert project “Hollywood” (Warner Classics), Sebastian Knauer has teamed up with the Oscar-nominated american composer David Newman. The focus is exclusively on American music from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day with all composers having had or having a strong connectiion to the movie world of Hollywood.

At the center of the program is the Newman family, who – with 13 awarded Oscars and an incredible 93 Oscar nominations – are the most successful film composer family of all time in Hollywood.
